If you wish Valentine’s day could be called off until, you find love, this post is for you. When Valentine’s Day comes around, the emotions single people feel about this dreaded day are quite apparent, as friends gather to create their own celebration to not feel alone. However; after the celebration is over, you go right back to facing the fact that you’re not in a relationship and those negative emotions come up again. The party is like a band-aid covering up the emotional wound without really healing it.
I want to work on healing the cause of the injury. My theory is that lack of self-love makes it more difficult to manage not being in a relationship in an unhealthy way. So, if we can do the work on embracing self-love, it will create a more permanent shift into a more emotionally well space.
People who are emotionally healthy are in control of their emotions and their behavior. They are able to handle life’s challenges, build strong relationships, and recover from setbacks.
Starting on Feb 1st thru Feb. 14th I'm encouraging single women to practice #ACTSOFSELFLOVE. I’ve already introduced #14ACTSOFSELFLOVE on social media, so I’ll go ahead at add it to this post as well, so I don’t have to be redundant.
