11th Act of Self-Love: Practice Trusting yourself More
Here is another way to deepen your connection to yourself... build self-trust.
There are several ways you can go about this:
One way to do this is by keeping promises to yourself. Making a commitment and keeping it builds trust.
You can even trust the universe. Know that everything arrives in divine timing. You don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, so trust the process. (I’m practicing this now)
What about this?...Think back to times when you followed your inner instincts against the opinions of others and you experienced a good outcome. And think back to the times when you followed the opinions of others against your inner instincts and you suffered because of it.
I know you can get great advice from others, because I have. However, there are certain situation, where the impact will solely affect you instead of the person you want to trust more, so why not trust your judgement?
What about, applying the cost Vs. benefit strategy?
If what you are trying to do will cost you more that it will benefit you, it’s not worth doing. If you want to take the risk anyway, because it will create personal growth, then trust yourself to accept the consequences. Commit to learning the lesson if it doesn’t work out and do differently the next time around. If it works out, your self-trust will get stronger.
Ok, this is the last one: Surround yourself with people who supports you from a sincere and loving space as you deepen your self-trust.
Make your decision. Make it from a place of self-love. And then let go.
