13th Act of Self-Love: Practice Expressing Gratitude for All Relationships
This practice is about loving others but it’s connected to self-love. You have to love yourself enough to create a positive environment with people whom you love and who loves you. When you surround yourself with loving people it makes you happy.
We all know love isn’t limited to just romantic relationships. We also have love for and from our family, friends, social groups or community members and even our pets, which are just as important.
Valentine’s Day can serve as a good reminder to continually nurture and show gratitude for all of the relationships that we value.
Take a moment to express gratitude for those loving relationships you do have and don’t focus on what you don’t have. Acknowledge each one and recognize why you are grateful for their love. You can do this by saying it out loud to yourself, write it down or you can express your sentiments in person.
However you choose to do this, it will generate a whole lot of loving & positive energy. Whatever you give thanks for, you will create more of.
Be Grateful for them all!
