I'm the founder of Simply Bliss, a personal development company for women, with a focus on relationship clarity. Through my coaching program, I teach women self-exploration strategies to help them create better relationships by removing emotional and mental barriers.
I achieved a B.A. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, I have a solid background and experience in the non-profit sector working for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta(UWMA) for 13 years. While at UWMA I supervised and trained over 50 staff members as a Quality Assurance Manager. I’m AIRS Certified, as an Information & Referral Specialist, meaning I'm very knowledgeable about community resources. I taught life skills to over 25 young adults for 2 years as a Behavioral Paraprofessional. I also completed continuing education courses in Marriage and Relationships Keys to Success and achieved a Creative Writer Certificate from Kennesaw State University.
The more you know, love & accept about yourself, the better prepared you will be to get involved in a healthy relationship, you’ll be less likely to get lost and tolerate what you don’t deserve.
I wrote a book called: Releasing That Relationship: Gaining Clarity from the Heartbreak of a Breakup or Divorce That Nearly Broke Your Spirit
My book was created for the woman who is ready to end her toxic relationship and move forward. This guidebook will help women:
See past their emotions and be more decisive.
-Breakdown mental barriers in order to remove the thought of feeling stuck.
-Address conscious and subconscious fears.
-Get really clear about what she wants.
-Learn how to create sacred space so she can gain clarity.
-Get closer to knowing and doing what it takes for her to move forward.
My coaching embraces the "immersion" approach, where I work with my clients for a 3-month period. When one is trying to create meaningful change it requires being deeply engaged to do the inner work.
I offer coaching programs with a focus on:
Releasing Phase: Ready to leave an unhappy or toxic relationship
Healing Phase: Recovering from a broken relationship
Love Again Phase: preparing to engage in a relationship from a space of self-love.
Coaching for women who are in relationships, that's causing emotional distress and needs emotional support in finding resolve. More detail here.
My course is called, INNER COURSE™:
It is essentially the process of shifting your focus away from thoughts of how to “fix” or “heal” your relationship over to thoughts on how to first hear, then honor your own feelings more consistently. During inner-course, you will explore your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
INNER COURSE™ is an ongoing journey, and this process looks different for each woman, but the foundation is the exact same: mental space, healthy physical distance, and honest self-inquiry.
My course consists of 4 lessons with a focus on exploring, thoughts, feelings, actions and practicing self-inquiry. Additionally, tools are coupled with some of the lessons.
Reclaim Her™: I’m creating a 4-week self-guided e-course called Reclaim Her™ that offers self-exploration strategies to support women in staying connected to themselves, finding a balance between intimacy and space and changing the belief that she has to sacrifice herself in order to make a romantic relationship work.
I was also a contributing relationship topics writer for Phoenix Shine, The Phoenix Rising Collective's spirit affirming blog
Two Step Clarity Process-Writing Exercise: My goal with this exercise is to help you generate awareness around what’s not working in your relationship, gain clarity about what you do want, then explore ways that will help you get what you want from a clearer perspective.
Self-Compassion & Self-Forgiveness Writing Exercise: The focus of this exercise is to help women to be kind to themselves when they are going through a difficult time in any area of their life.
Year in Review 3 Powerful Questions: A mini-workbook created to help women set intentions to create a better feeling relationship once they reflect on what didn't work in the previous year.
Relationship Satisfaction: This mini-workbook was created with the intention of helping women evaluate the satisfaction in their relationship in order to get clear what needs to be done if they are unfilled in their relationship.
Emotional Mapping: This worksheet was created to help women gain awareness around their emotional pattern in order to make positive changes.
Master Your Emotions: Mastering out emotions will allow us to strengthen a relationship with ourselves. But most important is to understand the message that our emotions are giving us. Once you are clear on the message you can course correct to do more of what feels good and less of what doesn't. This resource was created to support this process.
“I felt powerful. I felt in charge. I felt like I REALLY DO have the ability to self-govern and in that governance, silently and lovingly communicate my expectations and how I am to be treated.”
“After 17 years of a confusing relationship, I was finally able to get clear on my wants and needs and not only get clear but get focused. Your action steps created a path to an effective way to cleanse myself of my past relationships and look forward to new ones. This has been an enlightening journey and I look forward to working with you more in the near future."Thank you again, Monique, you are the best!” — Oona
“I just had to send you a “Thank You” for our conversation on Wednesday. It is so refreshing to converse with you because you really take the time to listen and understand. I truly appreciate the way you ask probing questions to help me get to the root of what I am feeling or being challenged by. That is truly a unique trait and I appreciate you immensely!” — Ivy
